I love children of all ages and I have been caring for them since I started babysitting at age 10. I was a licensed foster parent for 12 years and I took care of 89 babies, many of which were medically fragile. I also cared for close to 200 toddler, preschool, and elementary children before I decided to no longer do foster care and begin private babysitting. I have five children of my own, including one set of twins that are now 26 years old. I am fingerprinted, First Aid and CPR (including infant CPR) certified, and I have a very nice, clean home in the beautiful Eureka Springs community of Escondido. I enjoy creating routines for children and find that they help most children relax and feel comfortable, knowing what is going to happen next. I make learning time, play time, wind-down time and even nap-time fun for children. I know how to make a child feel safe and welcome and how to make drop-offs and pick-ups effortless. I have everything a little one could ever want or need, a safe beautiful backyard, and a nice indoor "play land." We have a beautiful park near the house and enjoy outdoor activities. I am extremely healthy, energetic and reliable. Trust is very important to me. My background and extended background checks are available at your request. I have many references and lots of experience. Just as you want to find the right person, so do I. I want to work with a family for a long time, so that your child or children can have a consistent caregiver and a positive experience; you can go to work and know that your child or children are well taken care of (not just babysat) and I can be joyful and take pride in something that I absolutely love to do.
