I am a stay-at-home mom and homeschooler. We are veering towards the Charlotte Mason method to schooling. We are Christians. My husband works during the day. My boys are 6 years old and 10 years old.

We live next to 2 regional parks and trails.We spend most adventures days out exploring state parks and libraries on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Monday- is our baking day. Wednesday and Friday games, worksheets or other fun activities. <br/><br/>We work on a devotional every day discussing scripture, praying. The kids help discuss the plan for the day so they are able to contribute to their daily schedule.<br/><br/>We have 1- 2-hour block of quiet time a day this is usually after lunch but may vary on child needs and schedules. Little kids will nap and big kids read, work on a quiet structured activity, work on a hobby, etc. <br/><br/>Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays- TV is on 7am- 8:30 am. The only shows allowed are bible based cartoons. Occasionally we may have a movie day. <br/><br/>Food served is usually pretty healthy. No juice, limited sweets, no candy, little-processed food with exception from time to time may go out for lunch. <br/><br/>A little about me:<br/>I love God and I show this love by serving my husband and rasing my children. I do work on the weekends and have started a business at home. I have some facebook groups. I am passionate about teaching women to be everything God has called them to be. I love my husband deeply and am filled with Joy that my 1st call to life is to serve him. Our house is filled with laughter, fun, and order. I like hiking, reading books, listening to music. I love watching my children learn and grow into great little people. I love essential oils, healthy living, and meeting new people. I like hosting events, public speaking, encouraging others, and living 1 day at a time. Of Course, I love other people's children as well.… Read more
