Greenway Park Asep

Greenway Park Elementary School provides a safe, warm, nurturing, caring, and challenging learning environment where each child is recognized as an individual, and all children succeed. At Greenway Park Elementary School, we serve prekindergarten through fifth grade students. At Greenway Park, academic achievement and success for all is our primary mission. Our excellent, passionate staff has worked diligently to build a creative learning environment that promotes each individual's academic development and nurtures positive character traits. Thanks to our generous community support, our school has over 200 I-Pads for student use in learning. Greenway Park is housed in a beautiful school building that was built in 1995. We have two new playgrounds and a newly decorated media center.

We have an active PTA which meets monthly to plan fundraising activities to support staff and students. You can find our PTA on Facebook.

There are many activities to involve parents including "Pastries for Parents" and several Family Nights. Please see our school calendar on this website to get involved.

Students can join many extra-curricular activities such as the Drum club, the singing group "Gleeway," Science Olympiad, Chess Club, Crafts Club, Juggling Club, Basketball Club, "Girls on the Run" and our newest club "Greenway Guitar Heroes" where students can learn to play the classical guitar! Students can also choose to join the recycling club or the Safety Patrol. Students can run for Student Council as well. There are many options for our students to find friends who have similar interests.

Greenway Park has over 20 community partnerships! We are extremely thankful to have three strong faith partnerships with St. Stephen United Methodist Church, New Charlotte Church, and Matthews United Methodist Church. They volunteer in the school, provide supplies and technology for the school, and supply our family dinners and Pastries for Parents. We also have strong financial support from the Rick Hendrick and Lynn Carleson Family. Our many community partnerships are a large part of our school success in what we call a "Greenwave" of support.
