Green Children's House Montessori School is a preschool and kindergarten serving children, ages three months up to six years of age. Green Children's House provides a world class Montessori Education and is the leader in teaching environmental best practices. GCH is accredited by the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Our Eco-friendly program provides a nurturing and healthy learning environment that cultivates the importance of protecting and preserving our planet for the future. Recycling, reusing and reducing is an everyday thing at our school. Children who learn in a Montessori school like GCH have learned to build self-confidence and become independent. They learn at a young age how to make decisions, solve problems, and make choices. A Montessori education helps develop a strong sense of respect, dignity and confidence.
Green Children's House is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) Montessori school that strives to provide a positive learning environment for our children. We are proud to be an award winning school. We are recognized by Broward County Emerald Trophy for our environmental practices. We have received the Lego Children's Fund Grant, Broward County Farm Bureau Grant, Whole Foods Whole Kids Foundation Grant, Walmart Community Grant and Staples 2 Million and Change Grant.
We are members of the American Montessori Society, Early Development of Global Education and the Oregon Eco-Healthy Child Care.
