Greatest Resource Educational Home Childcare

I began my career as a home child care provider in 1986. I was formerly licensed with the U.S. Air Force and received extensive early childhood growth and development training. I am a few classes short for my associate's in early childhood education. My husband of over 30 years and I have three children and five grandchildren. In addition to home child care, I have worked as a nanny, child care center teacher, preschool teacher, teacher's aide, and as a substitute teacher in an elementary school.

Our days are softly-structured and encourage play and exploration through a professionally created curriculum that covers Early Literacy, Language Development, Science, Sensory Explorations, Numbers, Early Math Skills, Arts and Crafts, and Music and Movement Activities.

I believe children learn best through hands-on experiences, where they can exercise their natural curiosity and can manipulate and explore the environment around them. My environment and curriculum is built around this simple philosophy. Everything is presented in such a way that the children learn while playing and having fun. I encourage parents to expand upon their child's experiences by sending home lesson plans, song lyrics, and finished projects, so they know day-to-day what their child was exposed to.

I truly believe today's children are our greatest resource; hence the name Greatest Resource Educational Childcare. I will always do my very best to provide a safe, stimulating, and loving environment.

Open Monday through Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Nutritious meals and snacks included.
