Granite Court Kids

Hello and welcome to Granite Court Kids! I am Kristen, and I operate a small, family-style, and relaxed daycare. I am honored that you are considering becoming a part of the Granite Court Kids family. We share a small amount of your child s life, and are privileged to be given the opportunity. The number of children that are enrolled in a family style daycare is small, and by staying small I am able to provide individualized and nurturing care, which makes my home daycare a premium service. Granite court kids is also home to a dog (lab mix) named Nala who loves children, a cat named Keeno who is very kind and declawed, and a tortoise named Annabelle who the children love.

I am mom to two children, ages 4 and 6, and have recently decided to become a stay-at-home mom to my kids. I previously worked as a registered nurse for 9+ years in the emergency department, and on medical floor within the hospital environment. In addition I would like to welcome 2 other children into my home on a daycare basis. My goal is to become licensed, but the process does take some time, so in the meantime I am looking to watch 2 other children in addition to my own. This fall my oldest child will attend Tozer elementary as a kindergartner. My youngest child attends Faithsteps preschool on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. If your child attends during these times I will need a release to be signed for me to be able to put them in my 7 seat SUV and take them with me to drop off and pick up. Also, if your child is school aged, I will be able to provide transportation to them at no additional fee! I can watch an additional child, and/or provide drop-in daycare between 8-5 while my eldest is in kindergarten, should you require care only during those hours. I am BLS and first aid certified, along with other nursing credentials that make me a great choice, such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course, and ENPC (Emergency Pediatric Core Course), all of these additional nursing certifications focus on specialized care of people and children in emergency situations.

My children also attend gymnastics at Windsor Gymnastics Academy, and dance classes at Kix, if you would like to enroll your child in either of these let me know, and I can provide transportation to these things also if they attend the same classes. I frequently take the children to the Clearview Library to take advantage of their free class offerings.
