Grandma's House

Here at Grandma's House we play, read, learn, bake, snuggle and make friends! My belief is that children learn as they play and experience life. If given thoughtful, age appropriate activities they will grow and thrive. I put emphasis on creativity, hands on play, fun and sunshine! Your child/ren will be engaged in "old fashioned" play. No electronic screens here except the occasional, rainy day Disney Jr. program. About me: I have 40 years of experience in caring for children. This experience comes from babysitting, being a live-in and live-out nanny, being a preschool aide, preschool teacher, preschool director and owner. I have owned a home daycare, a preschool/childcare center and opened and directed a preschool. I also worked for a school district in their before and after school program. I am a mom to 6 sons and 4 daughters-in-law and a grandma to the most precious baby girl! My desire is to meet each child's individual needs as well as create a fun, healthy and loving environment where children can grow and succeed. I provide healthy, home cooked meals and snacks and a toxic free environment.
