Grandma's House - More Than Just A Babysitter

I play, teach, dance, sing, (yes off key) read and love to watch children learn and grow and their fascination with discovering everything especially for the little ones when everything is a new adventure. I have a lot of experience caring for multiple children including up to several infants at the same time.

I have lived in The Colony for 20 years now. I previously had an in-home day care that I enjoyed for 12 years when my children were young. Now I am a Grandma and currently caring for my grandson that is 8 months old and my 6 year old grandson that is in Kindergarten.

I would like to have two or three more children to care for that would be long term and be a part of our family. I want my home to be a safe, loving, fun and learning place for your child to feel welcomed, like Grandma's house.

I home schooled my three children most of their lives and now they are grown but I am a firm believer in teaching children at an early age and building upon their skills. I love teaching through everyday life and play as well as crafts and hands on activities. I will provide reliable care including creative play, crafts and introduction to phonics and preparation for kindergarten.

I will of course provide meals for their scheduled needs as well as snacks.

Currently I am available for back up care or occasional care including date nights or errands.

I understand finding the perfect childcare can be exhausting and scary; I do wish you the best in finding the right person for your sweet little one.
