I am a "Registered Childcare Home Provider" Currently I have 2 full-time openings for children ages infant to 5 years. I am also available to do summer and no-school days for school age children. The atmosphere created has a cozy home away from homefeeling. Children are my passion. I love the look in their eyes when they realize they have mastered a new skill. I am very patient and believe in natural consequences. I have found that redirection, distraction and positive reinforcement works best. I teach Sympathy and Empathy, Honesty and Respect. I also focus on nutrition and activity. Homemade meals served every day. Hours are 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Preschool program runs from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. We learn through play. Open-ended, hands-on activities are used to learn pre-math and pre-reading skills. Science, Large and Small Motor activities along with Music and Movement are included.
