My husband and I have been coming to this clinic since opened by Drs Mongan and Garner. We followed them from their previous clinic. I was very sorry to hear of Dr mongan's leaving. I felt a panic as to what to do for my fur babies care. Felt I always had the best. I made an appointment with "Dr Brem" per a recommendation I received. Made the appointment a month ahead for a nail trim to get to meet Dr Brem. When we arrived for the appointment we were informed that the appointment had been changed to have Vet Techs do nail trim. Not a problem, but I found a wound on my 8 1/2 year old dog in her anal area the night before. The tech said she would have Dr Brem come in a look at her. She did, and informed us she could not do anything for her that day, I would have to get another appointment an bring her back, although my appointment was made to see her and meet. Didn't matter, she was not taking care of her problem. I also requested a refill on Trazadone for storm and firework season, as she has anxiety. Could not do that either, but could give her some Carprofen. I said I did not need Carprofen, but filled it anyway. Strange she did not have time for the Trazadone but did have time for a medication I did not need at that time. We left and vowed never to come back. Made an appointment that afternoon at another clinic for the next day. She had a infected anal gland. The Vet took care of that, put her on an antibiotic, and wrote a script for Trazadone. None of us, human or animal should ever get poor medical care. I understand situations arise where a animal or person my need extra time at a Dr visit. I have no problem having to wait a few extra minutes so that animal could get care. In the time she spent telling us she could not care for her, it could have been done. I am a retired nurse, would never accept that type of care and haven't. Be it animal or human we should be respected and treated with care. Love the new clinic and the Vet. If it changes so will I.
