At Good Hope Tutoring Services LLC, we tutor all grade levels K-12 and some college-level subjects. We do not have long-term contracts and our rates are reasonable and affordable! Whether your child attends a public or private school or is homeschooled, we can help!

We offer a flexible schedule that allows our tutors to work with students at your home, a library close to your home, online via the Zoom platform, or at our location in Accokeek, Maryland. *Due to Covid-19, all tutoring sessions will occur online through our Zoom account. Our Tutoring Philosophy

At Good Hope Tutoring Services, we believe that every child has the ability to learn. We apply an innovative approach to education by employing various formats to account for different styles of learning. By using multiple intelligence principles in delivering instruction, we can differentiate instruction, which can make the learner feel empowered. Good Hope Tutoring also embraces interactive learning settings (cooperative learning) that encourage students to work more collaboratively to achieve higher learning.

One of Good Hope Tutoring Services' primary goals is to equip children with the life skills necessary to thrive in modern society. To do this, children must be able to make the correlation between the fundamental concepts of reading and math and real-life application. In addition, we promote the development of effective organizational skills and study habits for its students.

The curriculum and materials that we use are all easy to understand and greatly reduces the frustration and boredom that many children experience during the learning process. Our philosophy is that learning should be an exciting and rewarding endeavor for the student. If children enjoy learning, they will be eager to work towards their full potential and be better prepared to adapt to today's tough economic and social climate.

The Purpose of Tutoring

At Good Hope Tutoring Services, we believe that tutoring is not just for helping children with homework and projects. It is an ongoing process to help increase the student's study skills, learning strategies, and test-taking abilities. Just because a student doesn't have homework, doesn't mean that they should not be tutored that day. Students can work on a variety of academic skills.
