About
Golden Mountain Montessori Preschool has been a cornerstone of the Ivywild Community for over 40 years. We use the Montessori Method and materials to provide a purposefully structured and enriched environment in which the child can absorb information, acquire basic skills of reading and arithmetic, and pursue his individual interests. Our children gain an early enthusiasm for learning, which is key to becoming a truly educated person. Children who enter our program must be 2.5 years old and potty-trained. We do not participate in CCAP or UPK.
