About
Hi, my in-home day care currently has two openings for full-time infant or toddler. The day care is open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and provides a healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack. Please email me for prices. A little about me, I am a highly experienced individual with over 20 years of experience with children of all ages. I have two grown daughters. Previously, when my daughters were younger I ran an in-home day care. Currently, I am CPR / First Aid certified, with a fully stocked first aid kit, fire extinguishers, and have emergency plans in place for fire or weather related problems. I think it is important to be able to give children as much one on one care as possible, thus the day care keeps a four to one ratio with the children at all times. I feel a smaller settings helps aid in the development of young minds which is why the home day care will be small. Additionally, the children will still get the interaction with other children, but they won't be fighting for attention like they would be at a bigger day care center.The main focus at our day care is to ensure all the children have a great day. We love to do crafts and plan fun activities for the children. Additionally, my house has a large backyard for the children to play in with my supervision. I think it is very important to let kids be kids. Learning and developmental skills are an essential part of the day care. These skills are incorporated daily. Whether it is through our educational toys or activities. I do NOT believe in spanking. I think a time out in tune to the child's age is appropriate. When children learn to be respectful of each other they carry that for a lifetime. I think the most amazing thing to see is a child learning new things each day. I would love to be a part of that with all of the children I watch. I know the feeling of having to be away from my daughter and working full time. I want to be sensitive to other parents in that area because I know how hard it is to leave your child(ren) with someone else all day. My home is newly remodeled and in a quiet / safe subdivision.
