Gilliput Play Care

Dear Parents,

My name is Gisele and I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I was born and raised. I am fluent in Portuguese and English. It's been over nine years that I have been working and taking care of children of different age groups (8 months to 12 years old).

After all these years of working with children I realized how passionate I am about my job and so I decided to start my own children's home/day care program. My program is small which allows me to get to know each child and offer them the attention and time they deserve. My home is in a beautiful, nature and family friendly neighborhood where children play and run through my backyard and there is a strong sense of community. We are minutes away (by foot) from learning and fun filled activity centers such as the Reston Walker Nature Center and the Reston Association Glade Pool.

Recently I worked part-time in a Montessori school where I acquired the basic preschool skills and techniques and would love to apply them with the children I work with. The children will learn their colors, arts and crafts and experience the world at their own speed in a non-rigid environment.
