Gigi Child Care, Learning Environment

I am a newly licensed childcare provider by the state of Maryland and I am looking for children ages 18 months to 5 years old. I live in the Odenton area not far from Village of Waugh Chapel. Career wise, I am licensed nurse and history with the military/U.S. Army. I worked mainly all my life in medical and took care of both adults and children. I decided to go into childcare now because I feel it is my calling;therefore, i went to school and now i am licensed and read to provide loving, nurturing and fun environment to children in need. My learning environment focuses on lots of physical challenges, visual and hands on activities through the use of creative curriculum.
I believe that self-esteem is the critical component to optimal growth in young children;therefore, my goal is to focus on developing the socialization and self-esteem skills needed to succeed on other areas of development.
