As a early childhood educator I am dedicated to educating and caring for the children in my care on a personal level, I am a great believer in and practice of Anti-Bias education. I believe every child should feel welcomed and acknowledged on an individual level regardless of race, culture or gender.
At our daycare, I teach a comprehensive preschool program from Sept-June for all toddlers and Pre-K in my childcare program.
My program is based on a play to learn theory, it is the basics for Language development, as well as critical thinking, self regulation with lots of motor skill interactive. This includes interaction with other children through cooperative learning activities together with social skill awareness; i.e., good manners and appropriate ways to behave.
