Opened in 1981, Gan Shalom is Temple Sholom of Chicago’s premiere Early Childhood Education Center. We provide an enriched educational experience devoted to laying the foundation for lifelong learning and strengthening family life through the transmission of Jewish values and traditions through play. Gan Shalom’s Early Childhood Education program provides a safe, developmentally appropriate environment that meets the needs of young children and their parents.
Geared for children ages four months through four years, the program includes parent-child classes, a two-and-a-half and three-year-old nursery school and junior kindergarten classes. Extended day programs are available for two to four-year-olds.
