I began babysitting at the age of 14 in Denver, Colorado. My mother had her own daycare where the kids from infant to 8 yrs. old adored me. Working with my mother helping her with the infants from 6 weeks to 8 really got my Babysitting started. After 2 months of working with my mothers new daycare, I started babysitting for the parents. I met the parents at their home 10-15 mins before they asked me to arrive, so I can get any special information they needed me to get done before the children had to be in bed; or before they made it home that night. On a usual babysitting night I was responsible for the children as they were my own. I have babysat up to 5 children at a time from ages 2-8. I made sure they were as comfortable as they would be while mommy and daddy were home. By making sure they had snacks, dinner, had their homework done and in bed by their bed time. During the same time we were having fun. I even did overnight care for families as well.
I love children for they are all unique in their own different way. It would be a pleasure working for a family with any amount of children with any age range.
