About the business
I offer private lessons in my fully-fenced training yard. During winter, I offer home visits. I teach manners, obedience, tricks, and dog agility. I have a special interest in fearful, anxious, and reactive dogs and have the tools to help them feel more comfortable and behave better as they navigate their daily lives.
I also teach dog agility, a great confidence booster for many dogs. Agility is fun whether you seek a bonding experience with your dog, better teamwork, or aspire to competition. Often, people whose dogs have developed anxiety about the trial environment or the seesaw or weave poles will seek me out for rehab of those very specific anxieties.
I am a relationship-based trainer who uses positive methods including positive reinforcement, clicker training, and counter-conditioning as appropriate. I have competed with my own dogs in obedience, rally, and at the top levels of dog agility.
