Fruit Street (before And) After School Care

Fruit Street (before and) After School Care provides care for children age 5 and up. We serve the East Side of Bangor at 105 Fruit Street, and offer better pricing than the Y. Mornings are $10 / day. Afternoons are $30 / 1-2 days; $55 / 3-5 days (We areopen full days for school vacation days during the school year at $130 / week) We are a licensed and insured family daycare. Both my husband and I have many years experience with children, both "normal" and special needs. References and resume available upon request. We are also members of Maine Roads to Quality (currently at training level 5) We are open at 7:30 a.m. until school starts and can walk/drive children to school (or the bus stop). We pick children up after school and are open until 5:30 p.m. We usually play at Fruit St. School playground on good-weather days, then have an after school snack (home made whenever possible) then the children can choose from a variety of activities that are available to them (games, toys, two art tables with craft materials, coloring books, etc). We even help with homework (but cannot guarantee that we will always have time to do this). We have two cats: Huckleberry and Phineas.
