Former Teacher & Home School Mom Has Ft Educational Childcare Program

Currently, I have 2 openings for full-time childcare for infants and toddlers of discerning parents whose priority is to give their child an early start and competitive edge in their education. I am a degreed, former certified teacher and a former home school mom who loves children, delights in seeing a child flourish, and whose childcare program is geared toward teaching your child many of the skills he or she will need to excel in elementary school.

My care includes daily walks throughout my sidewalk-lined neighborhood for exercise and fresh air. We play a lot; we build with blocks, work on puzzles, and role play with puppets, dolls or costumes, and we love to read. But as a former teacher and former home school mom, my main goal is to teach your child a variety of important skills that he/she will need to develop and excel academically. In addition to having tons of fun playing with a multitude of indoor toys and outdoor equipment, I will also teach your child a preschool and kindergarten program. I maintain a low ratio, so I am able to provide tailored, individual, preschool lessons to suit your child's needs. My objective is to have your child prepared to enter school knowing basic math, phonics, and spelling concepts and have your child well on his or her way to reading. Basically, my goal is to instill confidence in your child and give your child a major head start in his or her educational career. Building self-esteem is a critical component to optimal growth in young children. I focus on developing the socialization and self-help skills needed to have a positive self-image - - confidence is half the battle.

In addition, I am not a stay-at-home-mom with my own children to care for in addition to your child. My only child is attending NC State, so your child will have my undivided attention and total focus -- this is my career. I offer a specialized childcare with a low ratio with a focus on your child's education during the most important developmental years of your child's life. My goal is to teacher your child all the social and educational skills he/she needs to enter school and have a successful educational career -- to help you raise a happy, well-adjusted, well-developed child.
