My experience in care-giving over the past 5 years has involved assisting the blind, those with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, special needs individuals, quadriplegics and those dealing with other aging issues. I've worked with people who have been on hospice also. While working with my clients, it is rewarding to be able to be there for them in their time of need. Knowing they feel safe and secure while I am with them is important to me. Whether it's companionship or assisting with personal care, my goal is to help people live a normal life with independence and dignity. Included in my care giving work, I do light housekeeping, laundry, change bedding, cook, do errands and can take my clients to their doctor appointments. I have a reliable vehicle. Also, I am a non smoker.
