At FirstLight HomeCare we provide quality, affordable, non-medical in-home care for seniors, mothers just home from the hospital, those recovering from surgery and other clients with need for companionship or personal care. We can serve your loved one for several hours a week up to full-time live-in situations.

FirstLight HomeCare provides assistance to families through a wide range of companion care services at the home or in a healthcarefacility setting. These include: regular visits, conversation and company, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry services, transportation and errands, recreational activities, live-in services, and 24 hour care. FirstLight HomeCare also provides even more personal care services to assist with the activities of daily living, giving familiars additional peace-of-mind and giving clients dignity and comfort every day. These services include: bathing and hygiene, walking and mobility assistance, transfer and posture positioning, continence and toileting care, special diets and meal preparation, eating assistance, and oral hygiene. FirstLight also offers a Dementia Care Program and like you, we understand that your family member isn't defined by his or her condition: that for every day lived with dementia there were so many more without it. Our unique dementia program tailors care to each individual's needs and personality, not the disease. We focus on who your loved one has always been, not just who we see today. It is an engaged approach with a goal of maintaining purpose in their lives while giving you the opportunity to enjoy quality time with them, creating new memories instead of just lamenting memories they may have lost.
