First Years University s mission is to provide high-quality childcare in a warm environment that is safe, loving and nurturing. We understand the importance of the first years of learning and development. We specialize in the care and development of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age from our downtown Homewood location.The purpose of our program is to meet the continuously changing development of children's physical, intellectual, emotional, and social needs.Our goal is to be childcare professionals who serve as role models in early childhood education for the children and families in Homewood, Flossmoor, Glenwood, Hazel Crest, Country Club Hills, Olympia Fields, Markham and the surrounding South Suburban communities.We have carefully selected a loving, caring, experienced staff, and together we will work to provide whatever is developmentally appropriate for each child and help them grow to their fullest potential. All of our staff members are state certified and experienced in providing quality child care for children.
