First Friends Family Childcare Home

First Friends FCCH is a county licensed home based childcare program. We cater to ages 1 thru 5 years, but are licensed for birth to 12 years. There is an array of activities that the children are offered including books, puzzles, housekeeping, dress up, puppet center, arts and crafts, blocks, outdoor play and so on. The children are taught basics such as alphabets, numbers, the five senses, body parts, grooming, etc. This portion of the curriculum is done based on the learning style and age of each child. The center has never had any violations or write ups since the beginning of operation. The county inspectors do one to two inspections of the facility and outside play area per year. There are no pets of any kind in the center or in the home. We also offer a food program sponsored by Lutheran Services Florida. Children are fed 3 meals per day based on the guidelines Lutheran Services provides to ensure a nutritious and well balanced diet. Foods that are prepared and served throughout the day include wheat, grains ,fruits, vegetables, proteins and dairy products. Throughout the years we have had numerous satisfied children and families stay from birth until kindergarten.
