Hi there! We are Ben and Molly Woodsum, and we own Feels Like Family. We are a locally- and family-owned business, born from the ground up in March 2017. We've partnered with the Tallahassee Senior Center, both area hospitals (TMH and CRMC), as well as rehabilitation facilities and skilled nursing groups to ensure our clients' needs are met with dignity and care. You'll see us out and about at events hosted by the Senior Center, as well as events we personally host at assisted/independent livingfacilities such as BINGO and ice cream socials. We work hard to care for the town which raised us! SERVICES AND TRAINING: Our caregivers are trained to provide top-notch care and have undergone federal and local law enforcement checks. Our caregivers come to us fully qualified for caring with individuals with Alzheimer's & dementia and other cognitive deficits, limited mobility, awareness of special diets, and so much more. Many of our caregivers hold HHA/CNA certification, and have some sort of history of caregiving. We conduct all the hiring and training ourselves, in an effort to not have vital information overlooked. We also conduct all client intakes and assessments ourselves as well. We feel that a personal touch really goes a long way, and helps our clients feel like they truly are receiving care which feels like family and lends to a sense of comfort & security.
