I love animals, all kinds, but especially dogs and cats. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, turtles and fish, etc. in the home. And when my children were growing up, they experienced the same. We only had one dog though, a golden retriever named Dudley, and he was like a son, as he was with us for 14 years. I have cared for family pets for many years, as well as pets, mainly dogs and cats, of family and friends when they had to be away from home for vacations, hospitalizations, etc. After retiring from working full time, I decided to start my own small cat boarding service located in my home. Some cats do just fine in a boarding environment, but some do not do well at all and are best cared for in the comforts of their own home (especially multi-cat homes). I have chosen to extend my services to include the care of these precious cats in order to minimize their anxiety and allow them to feel safe and secure while their family is away. I also look forward to caring for dogs that need a good walk and some playtime during the day.
