Family Ties Child Care prides itself on a combination of basic, cultural, and innovative learning and development techniques. A unique collaboration of theorists such as Paiget, Montessori and Erickson , pieced together forming my philosophy and goals for the enhancement of children. Assessing each child in order to recognize their individuality as to plan and implement age and developmentally appropriate practices. All teaching practices are bases on the 5 domains of Early Childhood Development.....Social/Emotional, Physical well being, Approaches toward learning, Language/ Literacy and Cognitive/ General knowledge ,for the development of all children, ages birth to 12 years of age, in a structured, safe and healthy learning environment. Here at Family Ties Child Care we encourage our children to expound on their curiosities, develop their sense of self and embrace their culture while being introduced to others. We offer special services like yoga and meditation which also enhances the growth and development of children. Encouraging family involvement and welcoming other caregivers associated with the child is a must. This form of involvement has the most direct and lasting impact in a child's learning and development of social competency. As a State Licensed setting I work in accordance with all relevant state laws, polices and procedures such as but not limited too......Background and Finger Print Checks, Health and Safety , CPR , Communicable Disease Certification along with my Child Development Credential (CDA).
