Family Child Care

Hello! I am looking to provide private care in my Gahanna home to your children! I have 5 years experience directing a preschool and child care, a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Ed., and finished my Master's in Education this summer. I also have two children, ages 4 and 6.

I value the home setting for children under school age, but also know the importance of "ready to learn" skills to prepare them for a successful start in their education. I can offer both the comfort of a warm and loving home environment as well prepare them with the skills necessary to be set for success.

Your child will enjoy learning through open play as well as intentional planned play experiences. Arts and crafts, music and movement, reading and literacy are a few focus areas that I enjoy planning for.

My philosophy for young children is that every moment is a learning experience. A fight over a toy is a lesson in sharing, a bug on the ground is Science to be explored. Social and emotional skills are a necessary foundation. I have had training teaching resiliency and coping skills that I practice every day with my own children.

My location is in Gahanna/New Albany near Morse and Hamilton, I am easily accessed off of I270.
