Hi there! I'm Scott Kendall, and I've been a stay-at-home Dad for about three years, homeschooling my 6-year old T1 diabetic daughter & potty-training my 2-year old. We've recently moved to the Cantrell/Chenal area, and I'm able to take on 2-4 children ages 9 months to 10-years old.
I'm flexible on the hours you need, as well as payment amount & type (I am open to barter, trade, or cash payment.) I am open to fit virtually any schedule you have, whether it's mornings, after-school care, over night stays, date nights, etc.
If you're interested, I will homeschool your child in whichever curriculum you choose, or offer tutoring to supplement your child's educational needs. I went all the way through the Boy Scout program (Eagle Scout, 1987), so I like taking my girls on field trips to Pinnacle Mountain State Park each week to stimulate their appreciation of the "Great Outdoors", as well as regular visits to local museums, playgrounds, or pools, weather permitting.
Meals, diaper changing, bathing, clothing, naps, etc. are not issues... I do these for my kids, so I don't have a problem handling the normal daily needs of your children. I adhere to whichever discipline style you prefer, but I leave corporal measures to parents. My wife is an RN, & will be available during the day for any medical concerns. I will submit to any drug/alcohol screening, and I'll pass a background check.
My own kids attend the Awana program at the Bible Church of Little Rock, & I'd be happy to involve yours. If you prefer a secular setting, I am open to that as well. It all depends on YOUR needs, so please call me at 512-296-5811 to schedule an interview.
