Welcome to Explore & Discover (E&D), A Highland Park Early Learning Cooperative! E&D provides licensed childcare for infants and toddlers up to 36 months of age. As a non-profit program, E&D operates as a family cooperative. Families participate on a monthly basis in activities that support the on-going programs offered by E&D, which also include a neighborhood playgroup and a parent seminar series. E&D offers uncommonly low teacher-to-child ratios, scheduling flexibility and a sense of community. The program subscribes to the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy, which encourages children to explore their environment and express themselves through art, music, play and social activities.
