Excel Prep is a Mandarin Immersion and STEAM-based early learning institution, fully licensed by the State of Virginia Dept. of Education, to serve 105 students ages 0-12. Excel Preparatory Preschool Academy is a Candidate for Accreditation with NCA CASI, NWAC, and SACS CASI. Our highly-qualified teachers all hold degrees and many of them hold post-graduate certifications.
The academic program is based on the progressive learning model and John Dewey's theory that children learn best by doing. Our curriculum is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum designed to help teachers implement developmentally appropriate practices and offer responsive daily routines and meaningful experiences that nurture learning and development.
