About
I have been a teacher for the last 25 years and in 2000 I decided to open a home daycare that centered around Montessori teachings. In my time as a teacher and home daycare provider, I have taught reading, writing, music, art and math to young children.Under my care children will have circle time, story telling, exercise, and playground time. Teaching is my passion and I believe that teaching can begin as early as the age of one; I teach my children sounds of letters and before 3 years old, they are reading 3 lettered words. While I believe in teaching children core skills before they reach their school years, I also fundamentally believe in play. I love singing to my kids and enjoy dancing with them! I make sure that they have time to enjoy being outside and playing with their peers. I also serve free breakfast, snacks and lunch. Parents can also witness the progress and development of their kids through their projects and events that I host annually. I host holiday and seasonal parties that children help with. Parents can enjoy a program complete with a concert from their kids, food, and beverages. I hope to continue to serve the community and showcase my love for children through my home daycare.…
