Hi there!
You can call me Lya. I'm a fun mommy hosting a Type B bilingual home childcare for about a year.

As we are all here for the same purpose, our children. The education and quality care they get during their first 6 years will be what will shape their minds for the rest of their life. Having that concern in my mind, and finding a high-quality daycare but also a place where my daughter could feel at home, became almost impossible.

4 months after giving birth to my daughter, I quit my job to focus on my daughter's development and growth. I begin to learn and study everything I could about children's development (I know! I'm a bit crazy about quitting my job). but I quickly realized the need from other parents looking for the same thing and that's when I decided to open my home daycare.
Being patient, understanding, and problem-solving is a developed skill I gained through many years of practice in my career with troubled customers. Coaching and being at service to others is something more than passion to me it's my life purpose.

Experience:
I'm Bilingual Native Spanish- fluent English, with 15 years of experience in the customer service field, training, coaching, and business management. My Last 5 years of experience have been in the Beauty Industry as a Hair, Makeup Stylist, managing Beauty salons, and at Sephora as a Makeup & Skincare Coach, Supervisor, and employee trainer. (Yep, I also cut little ones' hair and offer spa days for mommies).

Education:
Studies on Business Administration
Certified Cosmetologist
Pharmacy technician certification. ( I worked for 5 years as a pharmacy Tech)
CPR &First- Aid certified.
Currently Health Science Bachiller Student at UOpeople.
Extracurricular skills: Latin and Belly dancer, Fashion Designer.

My husband is also a well-known Dancer in the Ballroom field with a little over 16 years of experience in the Industry. He will be offering private lessons for parents and children over 5 years old In case anyone is interested in after-care Programs.

Mission:
My mission is to team up with my little ones' parents to provide to our children the necessary tools to cover their cognitive, motor, language, and social skills. Most importantly share with our children, the love, care, and values they can only get from home.
