Erin Stuvek

I am a full-time Religion Teacher at a local Catholic High school, and also serve part-time as Youth Minister at our parish. I have a daughter who will be 18 months this summer, and I am looking to additionally watch 1-2 children during the week (days, times are negotiable) during the summer months. I would prefer to watch the children in my home, but am willing to discuss other options.

I have extensive experience in Youth Ministry, Vacation Bible School activities (songs, crafts, etc), and education. I am also a musician with a background in vocals and guitar, and I have a degree in Spanish... all of which I would love to share with children who love to learn! Sharing faith and teaching children about Christ's love is of utmost importance to me.

I am a firm believer in natural, clean living and eating. A significant part of our little family's diet is organic/all-natural. I make my own cleaning products with household items, and avoid chemicals when possible. I look forward to sharing healthy snacks and meals with your child(ren), and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

I love to try new things, learn, and have fun! Some activities that I look forward to sharing with your child(ren) include: going for walks on the Montour Trail, going to the library, visiting museums, exploring different places in Pittsburgh, swimming in a local pool, visiting parks, playing games, singing songs/dancing, and of course, teaching them about the gospel message through crafts, stories, song, and lessons. I am easy to get along with and open to suggestions -- I sincerely want to help your child(ren) grow into the young boy or girl God created them to be!
