I am currently in the process of obtaining my child care license. My history includes two and a half years as a helper to another child care provider, 3 years as a nanny and 4 years in a child care enter. All of the experiences have given me a different perspective and I know that having a family child care is the right option for me. Currently I am a stay at home mom for my own children and have been working on all the requirements to open my own child care, as it is the career I have been working towards for some time. My experience with children is also backed by my education as I have an associates degree in child care. I have also completed all required training set forth by state law.
My child care is set in my home and it is a warm and safe environment. Our days are focused on play as that is the way children learn best. Nutritious meals will be served daily as I am a member of the state food program. I also will be offering a preschool curriculum for child 3 years and older through the FunShine Express program.
