About

Welcome!

The creation of Enright Eco-care

My name is Jessica Dyer, the creator of Enright Eco Care. I am a mother of three and have over 10 years of experience with children in many different capacities; including education and parenting. I focused on Early Childhood Education during my college career but decided to put my degree on the backburner until my youngest daughter is kindergarten age. My long-time dream has been to provide a connected, conscious and educational environment for children to grow, learn, and express themselves. I have provided childcare in my home for Waldorf children in the past and wish to continue the Waldorf-inspired tradition.

How my passion was ignited

In the beginning, I had my heart set on finding a creative option that would allow me to be home with my daughter. After a series fortunate of events, I met a wonderful Waldorf family, with two young boys, who were in search of care. I cared for the boys for almost 2 years, until they graduated to first grade. Mine and my children's lives have been enriched in ways I could have never anticipated by their presence in our home. We've played, grown, created, imagined, learned, explored, supported, laughed and loved. I'm hoping to create and share this wonderful experience with many more families in the future.

Our home

Our new home is a healthy, green, and non-toxic environment, positioned in front of the 23-acre Imago Nature Preserve and just a few doors down from the Imago Nature Center. There are 2+ miles of hiking trails in the preserve and plenty of space for the natural exploration that children need! I also have a fenced in backyard where the garden is currently being installed and the shed is being converted into a chicken coop to prepare for the soon-arrival of our baby chicks! The backyard is growing into a lovely natural playscape for the children to explore and play.

Summer camps in our neighborhood

If you are interested in your children participating in either of our neighborhood summer camps but require an extended-day, I am available for before and after-care. One camp is being offered by Waldorf teacher Ms. Riedel, at her farm, and the other by the Imago Earth Center, please visit www.imagoearth.org.
