My name is Angelyn Dodson and I started Enrichment Tutoring in the beginning of 2018. I have a huge passion for education and have been in this field since 2013 when I began tutoring during college. Since then, I ve worked with all sorts of students publicly and privately educated and of all ages.

I started this service in an effort to provide an extremely high quality yet affordable supplemental source of education, and to teach and inspire students by offering personalized academic assistance. Though my main objective is improved grades and overall academic success, I hope I can also encourage a lifelong love of learning and an appreciation for the amazing experiences that intellectual growth has to offer.

My teaching philosophy is centered around the written word. I believe that reading comprehension is the secret to all learning. If you are able to understand critically what you have read, all the knowledge in the world is at your fingertips. Fact-based teaching is merely monotonous memorization, but the true art of learning lies in the ability to link ideas together. I will never teach my students what to think, only how to think.
