Emerest Home Care of Connecticut is a leading provider of non medical homecare (homemakers / companions and PCAs ). We have offices in Waterbury and Stratford to service the New Haven and Fairfield Counties. We provide services to Medicaid , private pay and clients with VA benefits and long term care insurance. We work very closely with the Home Care Program for Elders.We work closely with representatives from the Department of Social Services and can easily follow up on any referral and ensure they get approvedfor an appropriate level of service hours. Our private pay rates are $25/hr and $285 for a 24hour Live-in. Our agency is fully bonded and insured and licensed by the state. We are privately owned and therefore we pay our caregivers well so they are not just working to fill a case, they are proud to part of our team. We are well aware of the challenges faced by other home care agencies and therefore we are staffed with a large roster of extra caregivers to compensate for any times that a scheduled caregiver needs to take time off. Furthermore, the majority of our caregivers have their own cars to provide transportation to run errands and escort clients to medical appointments. We thoroughly screen our caregivers with drug screenings and background checks, which we recheck every 30 days. We are available 24/7 365 days a year. All of our office staff are bilingual.
