In-Home Daycare

Elizabeth W

655 W. Irving Park Rd. Unit 5412, Chicago, IL 60613

About

I provide reading, outdoor fun, creative fun, language acquisition (babies - early reading), songs, games, brain "puzzles", enriching days during play dates, observation on a walk/errand, questioning and discovering how infant, toddler, child learns in his/her individual way - is special. My operatic career allows me some facility with Italian, Spanish, and a little French. I have a perfect driving record.

I have raised two exceptional daughters ages 23 and 19. We all love teaching and working with children.

I founded, working with parents, a co-operative nursery school in 1998-1999. I was its director and lead teacher. To license this facility (which thrives to this day) I received a DCFS certification. I have worked in mom & tot classes. To allow for flexibility in my schedule as my girls grew, I became certified to substitute teach, private & CPS schools, K-12 (not HS Math). After 10 years of almost daily teaching at FW Parker I sang at the graduating class of '05. In 2010 I passed the ISEE Basic Teaching Skills Exam K-8, ISEE (IL. St. Ed. Exam) #110/through Middle School. Additionally, I held the position as Director of Arts/Humanities (Administrative) @ Northside College Prep.
