Elizabeth's Home Daycare

Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I am an experienced childcare professional with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I have professional experience caring for children of all ages in both home and day care settings. After working for several years in daycare centers and as a nanny, I decided to start my own in-home daycare. Before opening my daycare, I worked in daycare centers, both as a toddler room teacher and as an associate with children of all ages. I have also worked as a nanny for the same family for four years, taking care of two children from the time they were young infants through the time they were ready to go to preschool.

In my daycare, I care for at most four children at a time, in addition to my own daughter. I am located in Overland, but we are currently getting ready to move out of state. Every day a nutritious lunch and snack is provided. I also provide a safe, clean, and loving environment that is based on education and fun. We do all kinds of age-appropriate activities, including science experiments, sensory activities, cooking/baking projects, reading books, and art activities. I also have a large, fenced in backyard, and we play outside every day when weather permits. The things I teach include colors, shapes, numbers, letters and letter sounds, writing and spelling names and words, and much more. I love watching children learn! I think that education is the most important thing you can give a child, and it is never too early to start!

I have been trained in First Aid and CPR, and I have completed a background check and fingerprinting.
