We believe that children deserve to be treated with the utmost respect, kindness, trust, confidence in themselves, and love - always and especially from the very beginning of life. Through giving children developmentally appropriate activities and expectations, we work with infants and toddlers to help them grow according to their own desires.
We are excited to slowly grow our group of children, parents and educators to create secure, loving, interesting, safe environments for our children. We are preparing our Children's House with comfortable child-sized furniture, quality foods in generous quantities, calm and active areas, and a curriculum that will mature with the children as they develop a need for independence.
I am an AMS Montessori certified guide for infants and toddlers (0 to 3 years old). I have been working with both age groups for the last four years and have learned to hold a high standard of care for the children. I am on the Montana Early Childhood registry, fingerprinted and background checked. We are CPR and First Aid Certified. We practice the most up-to-date infant safe sleep, CDC best milk and all around sanitation practices.
We want to support you and your family... not give you more work to do. So, we will provide breakfast, lunch and snacks (unless if you would like your child to eat something that is different than the menu, then I would ask you to bring in that item). If your child has a blow out, accident or just gets dirty throughout the day, then we will wash those clothes. Things we are asking you to provide include diapers, cream, formula/breastmilk, bottles and a stash of clothes.
A Montessori education is preparation for life. Our work supplements the parent's work in helping the children develop self-calming, self-control and self-confidence. Instead of looking at the child's behavior as what they are, we look at who the child may become. Optimism, positive attitudes, and hope for the future are essential to the success of children and our culture.
