I am a 48-year-old new immigrant and arrived here in San Francisco on December 9, 2012. I want to start my career here in CA in health care and childcare. I have part-time experience here in CA as a babysitter and nanny/housekeeper. However, back home in the Philippines, I was the one taking care of my grandchildren and doing the household chores. It was a daily routine in conjunction with my job. My son and daughter-in-law are both nurses and they are so picky and meticulous with the physical, psychological and emotional health and welfare of their kid. To give them the best, I did research on the behavior of kids and studied their behavior as well was able to deal with them effectively. Also, I prepared healthy meals for them instead of giving all the instant food on the shelves. I encouraged play to release their energy, reading to widen their knowledge, stories for moral lessons, and grooming for over-all fitness. If time allowed, they had a bonus massage for sound sleep. The welfare of the kids is paramount to anything. Parenting is the most rewarding job in this universe. A parenting job is indeed difficult but it is most challenging and fulfilling. I did this for my son, nieces and grandchildren. I will provide this to any kid under my care. I will treat and love your kids as my own. You can count on me.
I'm hardworking, athletic, and have a positive outlook in life. I'm happy with kids and love to educate children. I'm clean living and have no derogatory record. I love arts, music, math, dances, drama, cooking, gardening, etc. I have the patience and understanding for kids and can get along well with them. Playing badminton, volleyball, jogging, walking, calisthenics and dancing are my fitness routines. My age will speak for my sense of responsibility and dedication to any assigned task. I'm open to new growth and learning in any aspect of the work I engage in. I can work independently or with a group with minimum supervision, but because I am new here in CA, I need orientation and open-minded discussion on any matters of concern. I am all-around, hard-working, energetic, broad-minded, flexible, positive, transparent and trustworthy.
