Eleanore was a woman who lived with her heart on her sleeve and a sense of service in her soul. While serving as a Navy HospitalCorpsman in WWII, she witnessed first-hand the need for compassionate care and, most of all, a friendly smile. Some might have called her a hero, others a friend or neighbor. Me... I just called her Grandma. Her legacy is the heart and soul of Eleanore's Friends, a new model of home care committed to not just giving care, but celebrating lives each and every day. The care we provide is a true partnership based on compassion, connection, and companionship. My grandmother is my inspiration, and her sense of service is at the heart and soul of everything we do. She taught me to treat others as I would like to be treated, and it is my mission to honor her memory through our care. For some, this type of service is simply a company, but for me, it's my purpose, my passion, and my way of honoring one of the most wonderful women I've ever known ... my grandmother.
