North Buffalo (Hertel) Center:
Opened in 2003 and located in the heart of the thriving Hertel / Colvin renaissance neighborhood, this exceptionally designed and fully equipped facility is the only NAEYC Accredited childcare center in North Buffalo.
Our center was immediately welcomed with open arms by the tight-knit community upon its opening and has since given back by providing quality Early Childhood Education and enrichment. The center is booming daily with vibrant music and the laughter of children that can be heard coming from our extraordinary, 6,000 square foot outdoor playground. This prestigious center was the first childcare facility in the area to receive the highly coveted NAEYC Accreditation. We are a member of the Hertel Business Association and proud location of the Buffalo UPK program.

About Debbie McCormick, Hertel Center Director:
I started working at EduKids in 2006 when my husband and I relocated from the Wilkes-Barre area of Pennsylvania. I started my journey with EduKids as a Substitute Teacher and soon became a Lead Teacher in a Blue Bird classroom. Following these experiences and using the knowledge I gained, I became a Co-Director and later a Center Director. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise by working at 9 of EduKids 13 locations! I love working at EduKids because we provide the highest quality of care. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in English Education from Wilkes University in Pennsylvania. I am a mother of 2 children, ages 7 and 5, and I am proud to say they are EduKids!
