Educated Christian Sahm Part-time Care

I have been pouring my heart and soul into God's miracles since 12 years old. I have cared for children from newborn to school age. I have worked solely in childcare and school settings as children and their development has always been my passion. I have a B.S. in Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Child Development and Entrepreneurship. I follow Erik Erikson's approach to children along with Maria Montessori. Children have a need to explore and feel in control of their environments. I tap into every child's curiosity and imagination along with education. I teach sign language to my daughter. Though she is allowed to explore as freely as she choose, I do have boundaries for her to keep her safe and understand danger.

Every parent and child I have ever worked with has absolutely LOVED me because of my ability to be young at heart, love children for who they are and provide an environment for them where they feel safe, secure, loved and healthy.

I feel it is absolutely necessary for children to be kids by running, playing, laughing and tapping into those God given imaginations! Children also need to be taught how to eat healthy and what is good for their bodies and what they should and should not eat. I believe parents help their children succeed in life by modeling healthy eating habits with portion control, limited sugar, and eating lots of fruit and veggies.

If you feel I am the person you've been searching for to care for your precious angel, I would be honored to host them in my home. We do have a small Pomeranian who is VERY affectionate and loving and used to kids. He will NEVER bite, growl, snarl, etc. He is just a very happy pup.
