Edith's Home Care

I am the director/owner and provider of an in-home daycare. I have been a Virginia State Licensed family home daycare/preschool provider for over 30 years. Children are precious to me and my staff; we know they need lots of love, understanding, patience and guidance to develop positive self-confidence. My staff and I have worked hard to provide an atmosphere that is safe, friendly, and happy for all children. We strive to always provide a loving home-care/preschool that is conducive to each child's personal growth and development. We love our job and we truly love children; however, we are not nannies, we work hard to teach children self-confidence and independence. We feel strongly that children learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. Our goals are to help each child build a confidence in their own unique abilities; no matter how old they are. We strive to provide parents with a peace of mind that comes from knowing that they have left their children in a family home that is caring and committed to children. Our home daycare/preschool is a loving environment for all families; our doors swing on welcome hinges; regardless of race, nationality, or creed; we open our home and hearts to all. We have a fun and loving environment. We believe that if parents are aware of, and fully understand, the operation of our service parents and children will always benefit. If parents, children and providers work together all things are possible.
