EDGEucate Tutoring is a quality tutoring service run by Ivy League undergraduates with passion for learning. We have extensive experience tutoring students of all ages in subjects that include Spanish, French, math (basic level, algebra, calculus), writing, and reading.
Our teaching philosophy involves maintaining a careful balance between hard work and fun. We truly believe that anyone with the proper guidance can understand anything they put his/her mind to. It is our job as a tutor to fill in those "holes in understanding" that keep students from meeting their potential. To fill in those holes, we meet one-on-one with the student to discuss his/her needs and academic goals. we then give the student a diagnostic test to gauge their level of understanding, and then we work together to devise a summer curriculum tailored to their specific goals. This curriculum is supplemented with weekly homework, periodic assessments, weekly progress reports, and fun activities that make summer tutoring a bit more enjoyable.
