Eco-Shanty Summer Camp runs Monday through Friday and in 5 days we will teach the fundamentals of sketching, designing and basic skills of hand and machine sewing. Campers will start camp with a fashion sketch book, create their own designs, apply their designs onto their own apparel, creating one of a kind clothing. We will end our camp week with a fashion show. Each day presents a design challenge and campers will leave Eco-Shanty Sewing Camp with 3 completed pieces of clothing and 2 accessories for their own wardrobe. Come design and sew with us! Choose from morning or afternoon sessions.
Morning sessions run from 9-1, M-F, weekly from June 9th to August 15th. Afternoon sessions run 2-5, for children 12 and up. We offer an open design studio and daily rates for children to join us for the day. They will enjoy 4 hours of creativity and sewing one of kind applique clothing, accessories and home goods. Choose from our array of colorful fabric from recycled sources and Eco-Shanty's designers will help guide you through this exciting process.
