I can't say enough good things about eChineseLearning. When I started my journey to learning Chinese, I was at square one. I knew nothing beyond "ni hao". It was frustrating because I just couldn't improve my pronunciation, and learning the characters felt like a chore that would never end.
When I started working with one of eChineseLearning's teachers, all of that changed. Having a teacher who is a native speaker makes all the difference. She's been able to correct my pronunciation better than anyone else could, I think. And the progress I've made with speaking has encouraged me to keeping learning the characters and building my vocab. I think eChineseLearning is fantastic!

My experience at echineselearning was great in every way and I highly recommend the school to everyone!!!

When it comes to language, I'm pretty awful. So when I was looking for a language school to help me break through my challenges, eChineseLearning was at the top of my list because their flexible and professional tutoring makes learning a language easy and fun.
My teacher is wonderful. She really helped me understand the basics in a way that was simple to understand. She is very sensitive to what I want to study, and the vocabulary I need to learn. She always pays very close attention to my interests!

I started learning Mandarin a couple of years ago. First with Rosetta Stone, then Italki and then Coursera. But every time I gave up after a few weeks or months. Nothing compares to having a real person teach you. I'm very happy to have found eChineseLearning finally.
My teacher Joyce is great and highly recommended. She uses all forms of learning including listening, writing, speaking, and even dives into comprehensive understanding. This helped me a lot because I learn by utilizing the material and not just hearing it! She is an extremely passionate teacher who really cares about her students learning. I now consider her a dear friend.

Thank goodness I found my teacher Ellie before I bought my tickets to Beijing this year! She has absolutely made my trip--and it has been so fun spending 3 hours a week with her. Can't recommend this teacher and website enough. There are soooo may free resources, and the one-on-one sessions bumped me up from a beginner who can't carry a conversation to a beginner who can. I have been able to get around Beijing on my own and not drown in my own ignorance. Thank you Ellie!
